GALAFEST
Over the past 29 years, an annual event nestled between Ben Lomond and the Arrochar Alps has reflected a vibrant community spirit and a commitment of fundraising for vital charities. Over that time the Arrochar and Tarbet Gala raised over £100,000 for charities, with a regular commitment to leukaemia charities, CHAS the Children’s Hospice and local charities.
In 2015 the focus will be given a wee twist, shifting our venue from Tarbet Pier to the Three Villages Hall in Arrochar and building the focus on music, food and drink.
This is an all-day event, with a FREE music and food festival from 12 noon until 5 PM. There will be children’s events, alongside good food, real ale and live music. We will showcase the best of local talent – and are still open to local performers who want to grab some stage time!
The evening continues the focus on music, with a ticketed event to see and dance to Simple October.
We hope people will join in this new Festival for all the Tastes, and look forward to another 30 years of events under the peaks of the Arrochar Alps.

The daytime event is free. The evening event is £7.50, but with Early Bird Tickets at £5 (until 1st July).
Performers:
There are still opportunities for those with talent to “audition” to perform. Singers, dancers, comedians, dramatists …. There’s room for all performers on the day stage. To obtain an application email: GalaFest@morelaggan.fsnet.co.uk
