Save Our (Red) Squirrels!

The Scottish Wildlife Trust, National Park Rangers, and some local volunteers are trying to get a picture of the current spread of Red and Grey Squirrels in the Three Villages area.

They have put up a map of the area in the foyer of the Three Villages Hall and are asking local people to come in to the Hall and stick on red or grey dots to indicate where they’ve seen Red of Grey Squirrels.

There are a few dots on the map already and they hope that more sightings of the remaining Greys will help to focus efforts on catching these remaining critters over the winter in order to make the Three Villages and surrounding area a Red-Squirrel-Only zone, as it once was!

Thank you!
