Rural Watch Scheme

RURAL WATCH : PART OF NEIGHBOURHOOD WATCH SCOTLAND

Police Scotland and The Ministry of Defence Police are delighted to announce the launch of a Rural Watch in your area.

This area will benefit from joint patrols from the partner agencies and provide you with a clear point of contact for any issues you may have.

You too can benefit by clicking online to join. Its Free.

Similar properties in this area are being contacted with a view to all such properties becoming part of the watch group.

All parties that agree to join up will benefit from:

  •  Regular contact with officers designated to the area from each partner service.
  • An introductory leaflet explaining the scheme.
  • An incident record booklet.
  • Regular e mail updates on crime issues that may affect you or your business.

As part of the Neighbourhood Watch group your insurance company may provide a 10% discount on your premiums,

Quality weatherproof signage to deter thieves and advertise that you and your neighbours are part of a recognised group that cares for and manages the area.

Support and information to help reduce crime within the community.
