Arrochar, Tarbet & Succoth - Three Villages, One Community

Due to the COVID-19 situation, the Three Villages Hall has been closed since April. Now that we are in Phase 3 of the Scottish Government’s route map through and out of the crisis, the Trust has been able to make the decision to re-open the Hall from 1st August 2020.

This will be for pre-booked use only, until further notice.

If you would like to make a booking, or for any other enquiries, please contact:

The Trust and the Hall will, of course, comply with all current and future COVID-19 rules and regulations to ensure everyone’s safety. If you would like to discuss COVID-19 safeguards prior to using the Hall, please contact the Trust at the email address above.

If possible, we hope to run some form of community event to welcome you all back sometime in September – more on that when we have it.

Please do contact us if you have any spare time to volunteer.

Nestled beneath the Arrochar Alps, overlooking Lochs Long and Lomond, the community of Arrochar, Tarbet and Succoth is situated within the Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park, at the gateway to the Argyll Forest Park and the Cowal Peninsula. The Three Villages, with a population of just under 1000, make up the centre of our community with Ardlui at the north of Loch Lomond and several smaller settlements along both Loch Long and Loch Lomond included in our wider community.

The Community has one of the most spectacular landscape settings imaginable. Although the vast majority of its small population live practically at sea level, the area is framed by dramatic mountain scenery on all sides and borders on both the largest freshwater loch in Britain and an extended fjord-like sea loch. It lies at one of those vital cross roads in Scotland where the routes to the west and the north divide.

The Three Villages Hall, completed in 2010, is situated in Arrochar on the A814 road to Helensburgh. The Hall acts as a vibrant local hub for the three villages and also the wider community. A place for groups to meet: karate, photography, scouts, lunch clubs, indoor bowls and table tennis, to name a few. The Hall provides an active programme of events all year round, from concerts and theatrical performances, to book clubs and art classes. A fully equipped gym and a local Heritage Society Room offer additional facilities for locals and visitors alike. The Hall is also a place where you can hold family gatherings: wedding receptions, christening parties, birthday and anniversary celebrations.

Come to an event in the Hall, hire the excellent facilities we can provide, take advantage of the exceptional outdoor activities on our beautiful doorstep, stay in the area, or join our wonderful community. The community of Arrochar, Tarbet and Succoth looks forward to welcoming you!
