Neighbourhood Watch

Police Scotland and The Ministry of Defence Police are delighted to announce the launch of a Rural Watch in your area.


This area will benefit from joint patrols from the partner agencies and provide you with a clear point of contact for any issues you may have.

Similar properties in this area are being contacted with a view to all such properties becoming part of the watch group.
All parties that agree to join up will benefit from:

  • Regular contact with officers designated to the area from each partner service.
  • An introductory leaflet explaining the scheme.
  • An incident record booklet.
  • Regular e mail updates on crime issues that may affect you or your business.
  • As part of the Neighbourhood Watch group your insurance company may provide a 10% discount on your premiums,
  • Quality weatherproof signage to deter thieves and advertise that you and your neighbours are part of a recognised group that cares for and manages the area.
  • Support and information to help reduce crime within the community.


Joining up can be quick and easy, click onto this website http://www.neighbourhoodwatchscotland.co.uk
and press ‘JOIN’, then add you post code, you are looking for ‘Lomond North Rural Watch’.(you may have to tick the ‘within 10 miles’ box.) Simply add your details.

If you live in Succoth you will not be able to join the Lomond North Scheme by entering your own postcode. If this applies to you use the Hall's postcode G83 7AB until the geographical anomaly has been fixed.
